I believe KSP is superior. I've spent more than 200 hours playing it.

KSP is amazing.. but I'm not so sure I would call it "entry level". Some of the basics are okay, but a lot of people have difficulty learning proper orbital mechanics, and how to get a rocket into space without wasting tons of fuel and making it way too large than is necessary.
