I would think about reaching out to your customer support to check if they can assist with this.

It seems there are some issues with the system here. Still, I’d rather handle software fixes myself instead of spending money—just a bit of time to figure things out.

I understand what it's like, having gone through something similar a few years back. After updating Windows, power went out unexpectedly. The SSD didn't recognize the Windows installation on the Windows Media installer. I spent two weeks trying to force install with a USB stick, then tried cloning software to use the laptop's setup. Later, I watched an Indian guy's video and learned you could create a recovery drive by partitioning the laptop and copying the Windows install. I moved the laptop's HDD into my PC and connected both drives. When running the installation on the laptop's HDD, it worked after switching to the SSD. It took about half an hour and felt like a miracle.

State your issue clearly. If the prebuild included customer support, they should reach out via chat to assist you remotely. If that fails, they might request you forward your rig. [note: I just experienced a cognitive hiccup]

I was attempting to fix issues using a Windows support agent, but they suggested performing a clean install and then accessing the command prompt for repair and system reset.

I just don’t want to pay anyone, but I’ve been stuck with this issue for weeks now. Even swapping out the motherboard didn’t help. It’s been really annoying because I’m not comfortable with all the troubleshooting steps.

It seems like you're surprised by how capable you are. It feels like what I need to do is pretty simple, right?
