Startup suddenly lagging or freezing.
It appears the recent Bitdefender update triggered the issue. Following a fresh install of Windows 10, I reviewed every software and driver on my previous setup and identified Bitdefender as the culprit. My system became unstable with the latest Bitdefender version (as of February 9th, 2019), while other systems using Bitdefender operated smoothly. If you're facing similar problems with Windows and have comparable system specifications—Windows 10 Professional Version 1809 Build 17763.253—it's likely Bitdefender is the cause. Thank you all!
