For quick checks, try a running version of Ubuntu or another distribution. This saves time before setting up anything. Unless you require testing on Windows specifically.

I was attempting to download Ubuntu initially, but after clicking the try Ubuntu option, the installation process opened a gray screen and froze after a brief pause before halting any further output.
