I interacted with the CPU_OPT header while the machine was operating and detected a slight electrical hum. It didn’t cause any immediate discomfort, but after turning it off and on again, the CPU cooler began to warm up a bit later than expected. Prior to touching the header, the cooler activated simultaneously with the other fans. When I connected the cooler to the fan port, it operated at full capacity. Are you concerned about potential issues? What steps should I take regarding the delayed cooling start?

As long as it starts I wouldn't worry. There's enough thermal mass (even in a stock cooler) for a CPU to run without the fan for a short while.

No issues expected with the CPU during a brief 1-2 second pause on the cooler or fan. It should function normally as long as it powers up and continues operating. The CPU shouldn’t produce enough heat in the 2-3 seconds, and if it does, the cooler or heatpipes will absorb it completely—no concerns here.

The CPU_OPT header typically operates at full capacity regardless of fan status, as it manages CPU power settings independently of cooling fans.
