A few friends are joining in, and since some are new, we’ll all begin fresh. I used to play a lot, and I think the main focus will be on PVE. Looking for a class with great gear that’s stylish and keeps things exciting. Any suggestions?

Everyone gets dull after some time. WoW is a major drop from the original version. Playing as a rogue brings excitement when you're in PvP. The best choice is to go for a Pally since they can switch between all three roles (tank, healer, damage dealer). For appearance, you can customize them however you like using the transmog system.

I'm looking for a versatile class that handles all aspects so newcomers don't face constant death. A druid would be great, but I want armor functionality too. The paladin seems solid, but I need more features.

I'd wait for Warlords to launch if you can. No way of knowing the status of the different classes until end game PvP and raiding starts again. Maybe spend a little time on 2 or 3 classes that you think you may like, but don't dedicate time to making one your main character until more information is known about end game gameplay.

We were aiming for peak performance during the summer, so this choice isn’t a priority. Maybe we’ll pick a Druid or Pal to enjoy the balanced options.

Level up to 55, consider using a DK if you prefer, otherwise go for a Warlock. For PvP, choose Hunter or Rogue.
