I got a complete computer from a friend a few years ago. After removing the hard drive and dropping the rest (the screen was damaged), I assembled a PC using scrap components. I’m trying to boot from the drive, but it doesn’t appear in the boot menu. When I attempt to boot from my own machine, it also doesn’t show up. I’ve tried retrieving the key, but all the necessary software is paid. It seems there are no crucial files left on the hard drive. Let me know if you need help further.
