Purchasing a Windows 11 product key from the official Microsoft site is valid. Activating an online Windows 11 key in Windows 10 should work as long as you have the correct license and internet access.

You won't need to spend anything extra. A Windows 10 system allows you to switch to Windows 11 at no cost.
