Starting my first PC was an exciting experience.
From the image, it appears the issue persists even when powering it without the GPU, with no screen showing up.
The motherboard seems to resemble a low-end copy of an authentic ASUS design, which likely affects its performance. The same applies to the budget power supply. Where did you purchase these components?
This could indicate a faulty PSU or another problem with the AliExpress board using a modified chipset. The performance of in-game components tends to degrade significantly once they start drawing more power than expected, often leading to boot failures. Experiences similar issues have been reported on AliX79, X99, H310 and H410 boards. Consider trying a different stick if possible. If you remove the M.2, it might be a SATA slot rather than an NVMe port, or the drive could simply be SATA instead of NVMe. There seems to be conflicting information about both the board and the drive. Are these parts original or replacement? The graphics card is functioning properly, but the rest appears unreliable. Please let me know if you need confirmation on verified working setups.
The PSU was checked on a B760m motherboard and performed well. I ran it for a few minutes to verify. The components are brand new, except the GPU which came from a friend who upgraded and it functioned properly. I attempted using single stick RAM in the DDR4 non-removable slot, but there was no display. Powering without the GPU also didn’t produce any output. I’ve kept it running for a couple of minutes now and still see no display.
