Here are the main points you asked about:

- Your budget PC can handle BF 4, Crysis 3, COD BO3, GTA V, and Farc Cry 4.
- You should be able to record videos and stream on YouTube or Twitch.
- I have a few affordable options with Newegg and Intel components.
Thanks for your questions!

Looks good If you can stretch to a r9 290 or even better a gtx 970 that would be awesome!

Purchase two 2x4GB RAM modules instead of your current 1x8GB setup. Using the duel channel performs better. Edit: Regarding a case?

I switch to a 280X GPU for better performance at a lower cost compared to the 960 4GB option. The CPU will be an i5-4440, ensuring smooth compatibility with the H81 board right out of the box. You might also need a case unless you're using the built-in MOMA slot. Here’s the part list and price breakdown:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core ($163.95 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-E33 Micro ATX LGA1150 ($41.40 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Kingston Fury Black Series 8GB DDR3-1600 ($49.32 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM ($129.45 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Dual-X ($229.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ($38.70 @ SuperBiiz)

Total cost: $652.81 (includes shipping, taxes, and discounts)

1x8GB suits boards with just two slots, offering flexibility for future upgrades. Dual-channel advantages aren't apparent during gameplay.

The problem lies not in the fact that the 280x is superior to the 960, but in how much less it costs for nearly identical performance. I’d suggest checking out the 280 (non-x version) since it’s much cheaper than both the 280x and the 960. It would also be wise to upgrade your motherboard to support SLI/Crossfire and four memory slots. The board you’re considering seems to be a micro ATX with very few PCI slots. You’re spending nearly $250–300 more for what feels like an overpowered console inside a large case. If you decide to proceed, look into a mini-itx board so you can keep the case smaller and save space. Video card comparisons: 960 vs 280, 280 vs 280x, 280 vs 280x. In all three reviews, gpuboss doesn’t declare a clear winner. I’m curious why! Try to save money. Choose the 280. In America it’s often on sale for around $150 at least once a month. Edit: Probably not meant for America since that’s too vague. I meant the U.S., edited May 25, 2015 by JohnT

Here. More proof. A video comparison between the 960 and 280x. I doubt the 280 is that far behind the 280x. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=537&v=pEWABNJi6Rc
