I originally shared this in r/buildapc, but I thought yesterday would be a better time. I got my new PC thanks to some forum members who helped choose the components. It was a custom build with parts selected by me. After installation and setup, Windows and all software functioned perfectly. Today, I encountered problems when powering it off and on—sometimes the monitor doesn’t send a signal. The fans spin and light up, but there’s no display output. It rarely shows anything, though it usually does sometimes. My monitor is a Samsung LS24F350FH. When I boot up, nothing happens. I’ve used it as an external display for my 2019 MacBook Air before, which worked well. I also have another monitor of the same model, but the issue persists. I’ve tried unplugging and replugging HDMI and power, reseating RAM, and resetting the BIOS CMOS (with battery). Yes, it’s plugged into the correct power specs: i5 12600, Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB RGB, Gigabyte B660M Gaming DDR4, GTX 1050 (both discrete and integrated), and Antec High Current Gamer 650W. Thanks in advance! The BIOS version is F4.

When this occurs, can you connect remotely? Chrome remote desktop is extremely helpful. Have you experimented with another cable?

tried another cable already i realized that after leaving it off for a while, then turning the power back on and starting up, it actually boots and displays output. clearly it’s not the best approach since people wouldn’t want to wait that long just to get a PC running, especially when it’s only been a couple of days old. next time i’ll manage to turn it on and install chrome remote desktop along with an update.

That's already been done... still can't get a display output, so remote access editing remains blocked. I want to add that I'm certain the PC is powered on and I can log into Windows. The RGB settings on my Vengeance sticks are configured to activate only when the icon app opens (when logged in, otherwise off), and they illuminate upon pressing Enter and entering the password after logging in.

It seems you're asking about removing and then restoring the GPU after uninstalling/reinstalling GeForce. Did you want to confirm that step?

I removed it before attempting the integrated setup. Geforce isn’t installed, but I managed to boot up again and installed Chrome Remote Desktop. The main issue is that I don’t have a direct internet connection on the PC—no Ethernet port or Wi-Fi adapter yet. I’m using my iPhone’s hotspot via Bluetooth, which needs manual activation each time it powers on. After rebooting, I can’t access the internet. It seems there isn’t a straightforward fix right now. I’ll reach out to my store tomorrow to discuss possible solutions. Thank you for your assistance.

This seems like a great choice.

very late reply: I returned my build to the store on Monday so they can investigate the problem and resolve it if needed. Fortunately, I bought my 24" Samsung monitor about four months ago from their shop, which means if they can't find the issue, I can visit them in person with the monitor and try to fix it. Both the PC and the monitor are covered under warranty, so this shouldn't be a problem.
