I'm attempting a fresh Windows 10 setup on a brand new system, but the USB boot keeps failing with a blue screen. I've tested various methods so far: using Rufus with GPT and MBR, trying Windows 11 instead, employing the Windows media tool, adjusting boot options, updating BIOS, and even creating a WinPE USB. However, my Ethernet connection didn't work for network installation, and running setup.exe from another USB in WinPE didn't help. My system specs are: Asus Prime Z690-A (BIOS 2103, 09/30/2022), 5600mhz DDR5 RAM, i9 12900k, RTX 2080, 750W PSU. I suspect a hardware issue rather than a software problem.

I resolved this by leaving out all drives except the one I was installing on. The installation started right away afterward.
