Hi, MB - TUF B550-Plus CPU - AMD Ryzen 5800x I recently upgraded with a new NVMe SSD. My motherboard has two NVMe ports, and I wanted to use the Gen 4 2TB drive for gaming. I already had a 1TB Gen 3 NVMe drive with Windows installed. The first slot connects directly to the CPU and supports Gen 4, while the second uses the chipset (replacing SATA) and only works Gen 3. To prevent performance issues, I placed the SSDs in slots matching their version. However, now when I boot, I see no boot drives in BIOS and exit directly into Windows. I’m wondering if there’s a setting to enable NVMe automatically or if I need to swap the drives for better performance.
