Hello, I'm sorry if the forum or title doesn't match what you expected. This is my first post! My Asus laptop stopped working and I ended up getting a new one from Lenovo. After some troubleshooting, we found the motherboard was faulty. I removed the SSD containing a bootable Linux and Windows installation. Since I didn’t have time to create a Windows image, I wanted to try booting from the SSD as an external drive. On my old laptop, the boot sequence was 1: Debian 2: Windows, but it couldn't detect the bootable partition. I decided to look for help on the Windows forum because I mainly need Windows for my thesis, and any assistance with Linux would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance!
