I put together my new build. -It booted the first time with a message saying my NVME detected a new motherboard, and it needs to be unlocked or something. -I had two options to pick from, and I don't remember which one I chose. After that, it went straight to BIOS. -I did not change any settings. I just picked save and exit. -Now, my PC boots, but there is no display, and the error code is that my motherboard has an orange light. -The NVME drive was from my OLD PC with Windows 11. I did not format it before putting it in my new build. I thought installing Windows 11 would automatically format the drive. -I have ordered a new NVME Drive, which I was going to do anyway later on, and I am waiting for it to be shipped to my house. Now, when I boot, everything turns on, but there is no display. SPEC: -AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - ASUS TUF Gaming B650E-PLUS WiFi AMD B650 ATX Motherboard -Powercolor AMD Radeon 9600 XT (I used it for a couple of weeks in my old pc, which I was shopping around for deals for my new build) -ASrock Steel Legend SL -1000G 1000-watt power supply -Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (2x16) DDR 5 ram -Western Digital NVME Drive Gen 4 1 TB -Micron 1 TB Gen 5 NVME drive on the way (I play to use both NVME drive in my new built)

Orange should appear as a DRAM light, suggesting a possible RAM problem. Likely cause is RAM training; wait a few minutes to check if the light fades and the system boots normally. It could also be a compatibility issue, but verify the training first to avoid further changes.

Setting up W11 may format the drive as desired. At the start of the setup, wipe the existing partitions and begin the installation. Make sure you've connected the HDMI cable to either the GPU or the motherboard—you might want to test the motherboard first. It seems you don’t need to retain the previous operating system, so there should be no issues. Just reset the BIOS and proceed with the installation.

I figured it out. I replaced the new NVMe drive and it started up successfully. Thanks for your assistance. It was strange that it didn’t boot with the other NVMe drive. Once I installed my new NVMe drive, I added the other one as a secondary drive and everything functioned perfectly. For a while, I worried I had damaged my motherboard or CPU. The MSI Mag Coreliquid A13 360 cooler I purchased didn’t include instructions, so I assumed I installed it incorrectly. I searched online but kept seeing different versions with mismatched brackets that weren’t compatible. After removing the cooler from the CPU, I noticed the thermal paste was uneven, cleaned it, reapplied the paste, and reinstalled the cooler.
