Hello,
I purchased a program labeled as a "Software" file. It was installed on my computer, but I'm unsure if the downloaded file can be installed on my new machine after transfer. Could you clarify? Thanks.

Does the software refer to an executable file? If yes, just place that EXE on a flash drive and install it on your new system.

I believe it's an executable file. You can verify this by checking its properties or running it in a safe environment.

Without understanding the specific use case or licensing details, we can only assume "Perhaps, likely".
It could also be limited to a single system, requiring removal from your existing setup.

You might need to remove it from your existing setup.
