I reviewed the newest video on Linux adventures. I set up Pop OS but need some adjustments. 1. Learning how to conceal GRUB and make Windows the default. 2. Making a Windows icon or shortcut that starts Pop. 3. Finding a superior replacement for GRUB.

You can modify GRUB configuration files to adjust defaults and timers. It’s not straightforward to set options in Windows, which is why the GRUB boot menu exists. You could write a program to edit these settings, but such tools aren’t widely available. GRUB is the primary Linux bootloader; other options exist, but most users stick with it.

According to my understanding, macOS is capable of booting from a Windows operating system.

Yes, they also start up in a different way and don’t run standard UEFI or BIOS, using their own special firmware.
