I need to fix your old PC with a dead motherboard. You're looking for something stronger than your laptop. Your current setup includes an Intel core i5 3570, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, and a GeForce GTX 560. Please find a compatible motherboard that matches those specifications.

Check if eBay or AliExpress links work here. Search for LGA 1155 motherboard. Blue USB 3.0 ports tend to fit 3rd gen CPUs without needing a BIOS update. Skip OEM Dell or HP boards. For Intel chips, don’t try to update the BIOS unless the board came with it, since Intel stopped supporting older versions.

You should choose a board compatible with LGA1155 such as B75, Q75, Q77, C216, H77, Z75, or Z77. If those chipsets aren't available locally, alternatives exist but you may need to update your BIOS, which demands a 2000-series chip like H61, B65, Q65, Q67, H67, P67, or Z68. For the best fit, check the used market for these parts, as they're hard to find new. Keep in mind it's an older system—opting for a brand-new setup might save you time and effort.

Ensure you mention the H77 chipset board in your reply so it’s clear it’s compatible. The board should function properly without any issues.
