Ubuntu is no longer the top choice for Debian-based systems, and the newest LTS versions aren't as refined based on forum discussions and Reddit feedback. Additionally, NVIDIA drivers aren't included with Ubuntu.
Issues with the extra driver manager tool may arise; consider joining the graphics team PPA for the newest drivers.

it's not that simple, but adding nvidia drivers works much better in many distributions. Arch-based ones such as Manjaro and Pop have their own images for nvidia users.
I was looking into that reason I found online about the drivers for my NVIDIA card on Ubuntu. It seems some might not function well because of Secure Boot. Activating Secure Boot also needs you to manually install VirtualBox kernel modules.
Nividia is part of Ubuntu, or it was the last time I used it in 22.04. Unless you have a version that doesn't require this, remove it. Installing it is straightforward—open the terminal and run. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa Then refresh with. sudo apt update And that's complete.
