It seems the Razer Abyssus resembles a mouse I’d really want, but I’m unsure if switching between the G500 and G9x will work smoothly. I also have doubts about whether the IR sensor will recognize my mouse pad.

1. Zerg 2. Silver 3. NA 4. G500, CMstorm activation, Steelseries mouse pad. I usually grab whatever comes my way but I really enjoy my G500 Big Grin Maybe I’ll get more G500s someday. The trigger is my initial mechanical keyboard and looks decent.

This item is available again in WoL. I haven’t checked HoTS or played since the release.

Protoss leaders/Elite class are not being used right now; they're focusing more on DotA 2.

1. Race: Terran (Enjoy digging with tanks)
2. League: None – I haven’t climbed yet. Games are still just for friends so far.
3. Server: North America
4. Mouse: Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical (Beige top, grey base, mouse wheel, no extra buttons) – Not great, but it’s dependable, tracks well, and still functions. Will upgrade to a better model like Logitech or Razer Naga 2013.
5. Keyboard: Logitech G710+ – LOVE IT! This is the first mechanical keyboard I own. The brown switches are nice. It’s a bit loud when typing but I can’t ignore it. The rubber O-rings help keep things quieter.
6. Mousepad: Steelseries Qck (Medium size) – Excellent cloth pad, used for years.

Terran 2 is still in the process, being practiced and played with friends. Europe is ranked 4. The Razer Abyssus, Razer BlackWidow 2013, and SteelSeries QcK XXL (~45x40cm) are the peripherals mentioned. Mouse options include Logitech G400, G500, G9x, Sensei, Storm Xornet, Imperator, Lachesis, plus Abyssus due to its shape and sensor. Main issues were low LOD distance and mouse wobble, resolved by adding extra feet. The keyboard features a Qpad MK-50 (MX red), CM Storm Quickfire TK (MX blue), and BlackWidow 2013 (MX blue). Preferences for the BlackWidow stem from its full layout, blue switches, and compact number/finger spacing—especially helpful for smaller hands. The only drawbacks are slightly misplaced function keys and a distracting font. Mousepad choice shifted to a larger SteelSeries QcK XXL (~14€), which is durable but could use a smoother surface. Overall, the post aims to share useful insights despite being lengthy.

Race Zerg League Gold Server na/sea Mouse, keyboard, mousepad – a question about why these tools matter. Why do I need five macro keys? They let me organize text and structure easily. My mouse and pad are here because they work well for me.

Protoss, Plat, NA/SEA/KR. HPE tenkeyless cherry MX brown is from Razer; Goliathus and Abyssus are also from Razer. I've owned these for about four years, and they were the most affordable options I found.

I haven't played since Heart of the Swarm came out, but I really want to get back into the action, especially during Wings of Liberty. The game uses a Random League mode, and my main server is SEA with a USA mouse. Back then I was using a Roccat Kone[+], now I switched to a Razer Taipan. I got the Kone[+] for its 6000DPI sensor, and the Taipan works well with its higher-spec sensor. Since I prefer a finger grip, I don’t mind much about the mouse design. For the keyboard, I was using DasKeyboard Professional Silent at the time—Cherry MX Brown switches suit my mechanical setup, and it handles fast, multi-button presses smoothly. Later I moved to the Ducky Shine 3 with Cherry MX Browns; it feels just as solid but has a more stylish look. The mousepad I use is Roccat Alumic—it’s tough, has an aluminum core, and a coating that lets mice slide easily. It also has a wrist rest, which is great for long gaming sessions.
