Hello everyone, I’ve been thinking about the excitement surrounding Star Wars Battlefront II and its open beta. I also remembered the original Battlefront from 2004, which I played until about a year ago on my old computer. Sadly, the system stopped working and the hard drive with the game has been damaged. I don’t have the CD anymore either. Do you know where to buy this game digitally? I’d rather not purchase the original CD version since my new computer doesn’t have an optical drive. Cheers, Jens

Absolutely, you won't receive a Steam key.

It's unclear exactly what you're asking. Could you clarify your question?

I like it much more, I just think the maps are better. Sure, the game modes are not that well developed, but there is just so much nostalgia connected with that game for me. Plus, modding was amazing. Almost no support, so we had to come up with all kinds of workarounds...

I could be fortunate. I discovered the folder on an extremely old, dusty hard drive. It's really impressive—back then a full game only took up 3GB.

You receive the DRM version? It’s necessary because you need a Steam key. You can enjoy multiplayer, regardless of whether it’s from GOG or Steam, since they’re compatible.
