Star Wars Battlefront
Star Wars Battlefront
Hey everyone,
I'm experiencing issues with Star Wars Battlefront where the PC frequently crashes and shows a red screen. I think this might be related to overclocking either my GPU or CPU. The problem seems to occur only with this game, while other titles run smoothly. What could be causing this?
It might be due to overclocking; I'd favor betting on the GPU rather than the CPU. Even though it runs smoothly in other titles, some haven't handled overclocks well before now. To check if the issue lies with the GPU overclock, use AMD WattMan in the Radeon settings. If you're using Afterburner or another tool, close it temporarily and apply your overclock to WattMan instead. Look under Radeon settings > Gaming > Global profile > AMD WattMan tab. Once set, return everything to factory clocks so your overclock remains active.

If you’re using Afterburner or another tool, close it temporarily and apply your overclock to WattMan (under Radeon settings > Gaming > Global profile > AMD WattMan tab). Once set, go back to the Radeon settings > Gaming > Star Wars Battlefront profile > Profile WattMan and reset everything to default clocks. This will maintain your overclock for other games but remove it from Battlefront until then. Let me know if it resolves anything.
On a side note, make sure the game files are verified in Origin (right-click SWB in the library and choose "Repair"). Hope this helps.
