Star Citizen looks interesting for a space game. I registered my account and now I see I need a "Game Package," which mainly includes ships. The AURORA LN is what I want because it’s affordable and fits my playstyle—it’s a fighter. I’m curious if purchasing this package grants me complete access to the full game.

Right now there aren't many games available in Star Citizen, it's still in its early stages. It looks great, but movement is limited at the moment. If you're looking for something more active, Elite Dangerous might be a better choice right now.

When Star Citizen releases, you’ll still retain full access if you purchase the game package.

The full version becomes available once the release is complete. However, you’ll be able to try the alpha while it’s still available.

If you choose Elite Dangerous, go with the base game for a more authentic experience. Horizons is a later expansion with different mechanics.

I wasn't aware Horizons was available... It seems to be an expansion, so you'd still require the original game (make sure that too, since it can be costly for a DLC/expansion). Yes.

Alpha 2.0 is quite enjoyable. You also have access to it.
