Hey everyone, just started playing again after the big updates and spotted something odd. I was exploring the hangar, battle royal, and Vanduul Swarm, thinking everything was fine. Then I realized I’m stuck at the cinematic FPS level regardless of quality—either very high or low. Could be related to Windows 10? Any thoughts? It’s really frustrating. Appreciate all your help!

Check for background processes like FPS, Catalyst, or Afterburner affecting performance.

Verify your driver's configuration to determine if frame rate is limited.

The command is limited to a maximum of 30 characters. Use the ~ key in the console and enter: r_Vysnc = 0

Examine your hands—are you using a keyboard and mouse or a controller? When you begin your setup, does the system announce "Windows" or "Xbox One"? It seems like you might have mistakenly purchased a console and are still stuck in denial.

this is a very common occurence, hundreds of distraught console plebs put themselves in denial every year because of their purchase

I've been misled! Of course it's the PS3 controller, but that's all I own.

I'll attempt it shortly, need to tidy things up a bit.
