I appreciate what I've seen and heard about the game. I recognize Chris Robert's history and hope he succeeds. However, I still prefer to play it when it's fully polished and bug-free after its release. I want to immerse myself in a rich, complete experience rather than settling for something incomplete. Thank you to everyone who supported this project—it makes it possible. Would your perspective change if you had seen the game without constant updates? Is this simply a consequence of the crowd-funding approach they chose?

It could turn into an issue, but for Star Citizen I'm not very confident yet, we'll find out.

It’s not even close to the experience we’re aiming for. Playing any of the currently available options is perfectly fine.

I contributed to the initial Kickstarter campaign. Right now I own the Super Hornet. I must admit, after investing so much money into a project I genuinely believe in, the ongoing waiting and public attention have made me forget to visit the site for about six months.

I believe a gradual release is acceptable, though there are several potential drawbacks. Misunderstandings about the game might arise (I’m unsure how many claim it’s in beta and bad), players could lose interest after repeatedly playing only a limited portion, and excitement might spike before launch. Personally, I won’t likely play Squadron 42, as I hope to experience the full version with my character, I’m pretty sure data won’t transfer, and I’d rather avoid replaying the same campaign if it feels tedious (though I can’t be certain). Still, it’s rewarding to see progress and assist in finding bugs or balancing issues.

Squadron 42 goes live when it launches. It won’t include a test module; instead, it’s an ongoing series with the initial ten missions in development.

We should confirm later, but it looks like the choices made in Squadron 42 before the PU launch and full game will still affect your final character.

The core concept is that Squadron 42 operates within the navy under the UEE. You undertake missions, succeed them, then leave, gain citizenship, and can start building a life across the cosmos. This marks your entry into the PU.
