Hey everyone, this is my debut post.
I've been playing PC games for a while and recently faced an unexpected FPS issue. I'm not sure how to resolve it. I've tried various solutions for about a week without success.
Normally, I maintain around 400-600 fps in CSGO. But lately, every ten seconds the frames drop sharply to 100-30 for a moment, then recover. My aim becomes sluggish, and the game stutters intermittently.
I've dealt with similar problems before and found quick fixes, but this time I'm unsure what to do. None of my hardware is overheating, I haven't changed anything, updated Windows, checked for drivers, or run a malware scan—still no results.
This problem appears across all my Steam games.
Here are my system details:
- Intel Core i7 9700KF
- 40GB DDR4 RAM
- Nvidia RTX 2060 Super
- AsRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4s/ac motherboard
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've been playing pc games for a long time and I recently encountered this strange FPS issue. I'm not sure how to resolve it. I've been trying for about a week using various solutions. Usually, I maintain around 400-600 fps in CSGO. But lately, every ten seconds the frames drop suddenly to just 100-30 for a moment, then return. My aim becomes sluggish and the game stutters intermittently. I've faced similar problems before but managed to fix them quickly. This time, though, I'm unsure what to do. None of my components are overheating, I haven't changed anything, updated my Windows, checked for driver updates, and ran a malware scan... but nothing works. This problem appears in all my Steam games. Here are my specifications:

Intel Core i7 9700KF
40GB ddr4 RAM
Nvidia RTX 2060 Super
AsRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4s/ac motherboard
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
