One of my motherboard standoffs keeps on preventing my motherboard screw from going in . It gets around half way then stops and when you unscrew the screw the standoff comes with it. Can I go without a top left motherboard standoff?
Do you have any backup stands ready? If yes, move one to the opposite stand-off to lock it in place.
Do you possess the appropriate screw diameter? It's possible to operate without one, but I recommend replacing a lower middle standoff with the top left position to avoid any stress from the rear I/O.
I would also try a distinct screw to fit into another stand-off on the model that is causing the issue.
