I might have dropped them when I opened the package or they weren’t there. I’m okay purchasing more, but the items I got from the nearby shop aren’t compatible. I’ve checked the manual without success. Any advice would be helpful.

Motherboards are always* placed using #6-32 screws that go into raised bosses or brass standoffs attached to the case's motherboard plate. They should have been included with your case, not the board itself. (The board would only arrive with the small M.2 retention screws.) You can find a variety of options in online stores that sell computer parts. Make sure to use standoffs when installing! Avoid short circuits by securing the back properly.
