Hello, just checking in—my new i7-9700 processor, without Windows yet, is sitting in a room with air conditioning. The temperature seems to stay around 41°C. Any advice on whether that’s normal? Thanks!

Idle temps don’t tell the whole story—focus on whether stress keeps it below 80°C. Around 85°C signals early thermal throttling. With the included cooler performing poorly, a normal idle should hover near 42°C.
