Consider updating to a newer model since the spec sheet indicates no 5GHz support.
Single band N devices sit at the bottom of the bin for performance. N150 is very basic and anything operating at 2.4 GHz only (ISM band) faces significant interference from narrow band signals and overlapping frequencies with other non-WiFi equipment. Upgrading to an AC/AX router and adding a NIC on the same standard should make a big difference.
Suggest a new router, it’s outdated and slow. A friend recently purchased a TP Link Archer C7 with wireless AC1750 technology, offering a huge upgrade compared to what you have. It was bought from a local PC World store for £64.99. I’m really impressed by the value he got for the price and would recommend it. He also receives the full 213MB download and 20MB upload from his broadband provider. Edited March 8, 2020 by jimkirk363
