I possess a WD 500GB WD_BLACK SN750 SE NVMe Internal SSD, which functioned properly until last night when I powered on my PC and it failed to appear. It isn't listed in disk management or BIOS, even after reinstalling it. I have an ASUS TUF Gaming Z590 motherboard and am using Windows 10.

It might have just stopped working, but you could look in the "create and format hard disk partitions" option to see if it appears. If you have another M.2 slot available, you might want to try there as well.

First, verify if there’s you or any changes made before the problem started. Actions like uninstalling software, updating drivers, or resetting BIOS can help identify the cause. If you have another computer or friend, test it with an SSD—it might work. If it doesn’t, it’s likely already failed due to age, wear, or damage. If it works elsewhere, adjust your BIOS settings (disable Secure Boot and Fastboot) and update the BIOS if needed. For testing on another M.2 slot, try installing it there.
