I possess an M.2 Kingston SNV2S1000G yet it seems to be operating sluggishly. Lately, editing tasks have become problematic even with a powerful system (3080, 12.6 GHz, 32 GB RAM, etc.). To clarify, yes, the RAM is set to XMP and I followed the Premiere Pro configuration; the video file resides on the C drive, which is an M.2 storage. From what I understand, there’s no software-related issue. When checking Task Manager, the SSD utilization reached 100%. I ran a test using CrystalDiskMark, but performance was subpar. What do you think is causing the slowdown? Should I consider replacing it with a Samsung M.2 SSD? They appear to match in write/read speeds, but why would Samsung be preferred according to others?

Consider your needs: choose 500GB if you mainly edit, or 1TB if you want a larger storage for primary use.

This situation resembles others you've seen; it's the fifth one this week!
