SSD running slow

HI my ssd recently started running really slow like I was getting 50mb/s download speeds before but now I hover around 10. My internet is fine and I find that is not the problem but could anyone help me?

What are the specifications? It appears the new SSD is expected to handle read and write speeds exceeding 50MB, though it seemed sluggish initially.

You were checking the 50mb/s speed? For a genuine test, you must use a proper smart status tool such as Crystaldiskinfo or Crystaldiskmark. These programs can confirm whether the drive is truly faulty and show its live read and write performance.
