I own a Dell G3 15 3500 and it only has 256Gb of storage, so I decided to upgrade. I replaced the old SSD with an old one and used diskpart to clean it all, but the drive still isn’t detected in any system—Bios, Disk Management, Device Manager, DiskPart, etc. I tried putting the drive in the PCIe 1 slot alone and turned on the laptop to check, and it showed up there, but instead of being in the PCIe slots, it appeared in the SATA 1 slot, which is confusing. I’m running out of ideas and completely certain the SSD is working, though I’m only 80-90% confident about the PCIe 2 slot.
