Ssd bent
Ssd bent
The SSD is warping due to improper installation or pressure. Check alignment and ensure it's seated correctly. If issues persist, consider adjusting the mounting or consulting a professional.
Try to force the SSD through the heatsink on the motherboard. If that’s not feasible, skip removing the SSD’s heatsink and leave the motherboard’s heatsink unused.
Consider reducing the hardware until the board aligns properly. You might be applying too much pressure for the setup (putting the heat spreader on top of the motherboard). If this doesn’t resolve the issue, abandoning the motherboard heatsink or removing the integrated heatspreader while keeping the heatsink would be your next steps.
The system confirmed the SSD is detected, but long-term damage from bending remains uncertain. It’s wise to consider replacement soon rather than risking performance issues.
