You have a 240GB SSD and a 1TB HDD, but you're having trouble downloading games from Epic and Minecraft.net. Let me know if you want advice on optimizing storage or using external tools.

You selected the installation spot when you tap the game. Simply scroll through. Don't stress about Mc; it's around 500mb with a lot of mods included.

EGS suggests options for installing Minecraft games. You can modify the launcher’s profile, edit or create an existing profile, adjust the game directory to a location on your hard drive, or set up symbolic links pointing to the Minecraft folder on your HDD. An alternative method is linking %appdata%/.minecraft to another directory on your storage device.

On PC gaming, every launcher supports choosing where to save files—whether one at a time or all together.

I attempted to download from EGS but encountered errors about missing DLLs. I need to search for system32 and sysWOW64 files, but they aren’t present on my drive. I’m unsure how to proceed.

These files are part of the Visual C runtime library, which should be installed by applications needing them or via a Windows update. Consider reinstalling the Visual C 2019 runtime (x86 and x64) from the provided link. Additionally, run sfc /scannow for system checks.

System32 and sysWOW64 are the real Windows system directories. By default they’re hidden, which can confuse beginners. Instead of guessing fixes, opt for a repair install, a clean reinstall, and verifying your files.
