With two SSDs, your games should load quicker and the computer will start up more efficiently.

You'll observe a quicker performance if you already have an HDD. Various SSDs offer distinct speeds, but it's usually faster than what you'd expect.

The download speed depends entirely on your internet connection. A mechanical drive can handle write speeds of 100-125 MB/s, which matches a 1 gbps internet connection. The PC and operating system will boot quicker on an SSD since files load faster—no need for moving read heads or spinning discs. Game levels will start sooner, and games that load content while playing (like GTA V) will feel smoother on an SSD.

PC will start quicker because the game downloads depend on it. Some games require installing from the files you saved, which is mainly a disk operation. This might be faster on an SSD.

An SSD is quicker than a HDD, while a NVME offers even greater speed compared to an SSD if it suits your needs on game downloads. Steam’s download and file decompression are fast, so yes, a quick drive combined with a powerful CPU will make a big difference.
