I'm testing pihole on a relatively underused Raspberry Pi 3. I recall we once ran large LAN gatherings at university using a Squid proxy cache server. Would it make sense to do the same now? Given the large SD cards and ample extra space, could it actually lower bandwidth usage for everyday browsing? If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks, Tom.

I own two Raspberry Pi devices—one acting as a pinhole and another as a squid proxy. I haven’t noticed any speed improvement except during Chrome updates across several PCs.
