I searched for a suitable sub-forum but found very little VR-related content. The issue seems to be with the left eye LCD displaying unusual purple patterns on one side. I’m checking if anyone else has seen this as a sign of a failing display, though it looks like a typical monitor. The GPU isn’t the problem and the PC is functioning normally. I suspect the cable might be faulty—my replacement had a kink but still worked. After replacing 20 screws, the issue persisted. It’s frustrating since there are no more stocked replacements; I’m considering buying a broken unit on eBay in hopes it works, but if that fails, my VR headset (which is fully functional with new parts) could be at risk, costing around $60 for replacement components.

It could serve as a link, though details about the device remain unclear. It appears to be part of a setup involving VR and an LCD screen on the left, suggesting several components might be needed for a full overview.

It's a living universe. The display on your right eye creates the illusion. If you fix it, it becomes an LCD.
