Squadron 42 experienced a delay in mid-2017.
It originated from a recent conversation between studio leader Chris Roberts and the German publication GameStar. Although the official site still marks Q4 2016 as the launch date for the Squadron 42 project, it seems the actual release window is likely shifting to mid to late 2017. The postponement stems from the game not being fully developed, with elements such as AI and the cover system still under refinement.
Not taken aback by this. Star Citizen stands out as one of the most ambitious projects still in development, and their recent showcase at Gamescom was impressive.

Why? 3.0 offers all the essentials in one player game. It's fully feature locked, and they're essentially fine-tuning it, extending the endgame. It seems they're almost ready to release it. They're staying silent due to citizencon—wait a month and we should clarify our position. The media has made many mistakes here, so I don't trust their reports.
There are many more examples available. I’m looking for a solid score, but I’m not confident about Dev’s reliability overall. I’ll base my assessment on the released game.
