Oh yeah, that's why it's been supported for two years now. My friend had trouble getting it to work back then. Probably because most pulseaudio relies on standard integrated sound cards. If it doesn't run, it might be due to mesa-vulkan-drivers in Ubuntu—using the proprietary NVIDIA ones can cause issues. I experienced the same issue since I also installed the mesa-vulkan-drivers after getting the nvidia proprietary version.
I'm pretty confident I only handled tasks marked as NVIDIA driver, but let me verify.
