You're experiencing issues with Spotify on Fedora 34 using flatpak. It seems the audio isn't playing despite the app appearing in settings. You've reinstalled it but haven't seen any changes. No error messages were shown, and the local files aren't being removed by flatpak. Consider checking the Spotify logs within flatpak or looking into audio configuration settings. If needed, you might try reinstalling Spotify from source or consulting community forums for Fedora audio problems.

It's working for me (although I'm on F35 already, because, y'know). What do you see in `pavucontrol`? Here's what it looks like to me:

If it doesn't function, you can switch to the web version. I generally prefer the web over the app. I just added the Spotify app on my Fedora system. It's operating correctly. You might want to delete and reinstall it if needed. (A simple approach, it usually helps most of the time)

OP is running Fedora Linux 34, which hasn’t installed WirePlumber as the media session manager yet.

It's actually quite unusual. I planned to fix this issue today, but when I tried to check the logs, the sound came back on unexpectedly. @Matthew Miller, thanks for the advice!
