Seeking advice on splitting-screen PC gaming setups. Looking for a way to combine inputs from two computers into one 1080p display, either with hardware or software. Open to using an extra PC or other options. I tried Reflector 2 for wireless support but it suffers from noticeable lag. Any suggestions?

I believe OBS includes a projector setting that could help with this, but you'd definitely require capture devices on both computers.

Search for a television featuring integrated PIP or split-screen functionality.

Obtain an ultra-wide view with individual pictures. A Kickstarter project existed for a device called Skreens that combined several HDMI outputs into one, but it hasn’t been sold publicly yet. Other options tend to be quite costly.

I notice both OBS and X-Split support this feature, which I'll consider for further discussion.

I discovered this product online. It appears to be a multi-viewer input/output switcher compatible with HDMI 2.0 and X1. You might want to check it out.
