You just set up Windows 8.1 with UEFI and a DVD installation. Your ASUS Formula VI now displays the ROG logo along with the Windows 8 spinning wheel during boot. You might want to change this setting so it doesn’t appear while you start Windows.

I decided to reinstall Windows 8 without using the UEFI setup and it functioned perfectly!
