I was checking out the speed fan recently and everything worked smoothly until today. When I switched to automatic speed and set the fan to around 30%, my CPU spiked to 80 from 30. Even when I increased the RPMs to cool down, it still stayed near 80 degrees. Did something go wrong somewhere? It seemed fine yesterday. I’m using Coolermaster Sedion Pull Push configuration if you’re curious about the cooler I have.

I can observe all my fans working, but I'm not sure how to verify if the pump is operating.

Check how the pump is linked and supplied with power. Feel the pump's surface for any shaking or movement.

Are you certain the fan is displaying RPM data, or did you attempt to connect it to a Molex/fan splitter? I’m guessing it’s likely the pump.

All systems are operational, just the pump speed remains unchanged.
