Hi, the Ookla speedtest reports about 6 Mbps download speed, but your actual connection speed is only 0.2 Mbps. This discrepancy might be due to network congestion or device limitations. Check your internet plan and consider contacting your ISP for further assistance.

They use distinct measurements—Mbps for megabits per second and MB/s for megabytes per second. The conversion of 6Mbps is 0.75MB/s. What units do you rely on when checking your device speeds?

Remains largely unprocessed. Connectivity options? Wireless or wired? Which device are we discussing?

There are several factors influencing your internet speed: Connection quality such as weak WiFi or Ethernet cables (different speeds and possible damage), shared network usage by others nearby, distance from the server, and whether your ISP connection is wireless or wired. Wireless signals can be affected by distance and interference. Additionally, ISPs often claim to offer maximum speeds, so actual performance may vary.

It's been suggested that ISPs favor speedtest.net excessively. This isn't a big deal, though. Internet performance mainly relies on the elements @SenioRR highlighted.
