Speed remains consistent in Windows 10

my ram is overclocked to 3200mhz and windows caps at 1600mhz. anyone have a solution? pls help me out. specs: cpu amd ryzen 7 2700x, motherboard asus tuf b450-plus, gpu msi ventus rtx 2060, ram adata spectrix d80 at 3200mhz, black 2*8gb, psu gamdias kratos p1 650w, storage 240gb ssd, 2tb seagate barracuda 500gb, laptop hdd in sharkoon tg4 red case with corsair fans.

The Task Manager displays the actual speed for you across different machines, which is why it shows 1600MHz for him. For reliable data, use CPU-Z or AIDA64 instead.

The 600Mhz DDR4 chip isn't real, so it's likely you're looking at a 1600Mhz version paired together due to double data rate.
