Speed remains at 0.78 for the processor.
CPU speed remains stuck at 0.78 during gameplay. Plugging in and unplugging the power cord restores normal operation, but after about a minute it throttles again. Intel XUT indicates thermal throttling, yet temperatures never exceed 70°C. No fixes found so far—Windows reinstallation didn’t help, ThrottleStop also ineffective.
Access the ThrottleStop Limit Reasons window; you should see BD PROCHOT highlighted in red for this throttling issue. Remove the BD PROCHOT entry on the main ThrottleStop screen to resolve it. Intel XTU mistakenly labels this as thermal throttling. Delete XTU. It won’t help identify or fix a BD PROCHOT throttling problem. Enable the ThrottleStop Log File option before starting a game. Share some ThrottleStop screenshots and attach a log file from your next session if you’re still facing issues.
Does the BD PROCHOT container remain visible in the primary ThrottleStop area? You must activate ThrottleStop regularly, and the BD PROCHOT always needs to be unobstructed.
Display an image of ThrottleStop showing the Limit Reasons panel active while the CPU runs at 0.78 GHz.
