Perhaps with the correct XMP profile activated. Which motherboard is this? Intel restricts RAM speed on certain lower-tier chipsets.

This situation is quite intriguing. For an i7 10700 or 10900, you can use the RAM at 2933 MHz. If you have a 10600 or lower, the maximum is 2666 MHz. To achieve speeds above 3000MHZ, consider upgrading to a B560, Z490, Z590, or H570 board.
