It depends on your monitor's refresh rate. At 20 Hz, your games will appear to run at 20 frames per second, regardless of the stated 69 FPS in the game.

In those titles the refresh rate doesn't matter much, yet it does affect competitive shooters such as CSGO and Battlefield.

Be mindful that not every game gains much from high frame rates beyond a slight improvement in playability. Certain titles are limited to around 60 frames per second, or have irregular timing. Others struggle with optimization, making it hard to reach 120 FPS no matter the system. The ideal case seems to be CS:GO, particularly for players who care deeply about competition.

75hz works well and 5ms is sufficient. As long as you're not a South Korean professional gamer, it's okay.

It's easier to work with higher frequencies above 100Hz, though you likely won't need that for most games. It's better suited for quick phased shooters, while I favor 144Hz across all titles.
